Finding a good firm of lawyers that you can trust, who are affordable, explain things clearly and understand exactly what you want is vital for business and personal matters.

That is why even some of the biggest cases that McLachlan Thorpe Partners have handled have come from clients of long standing and whose relationships with the law firm have continually strengthened.

In the biggest case (in financial terms) of the firm’s history, the man for whom they won a $55 million settlement from the Australian government had been a client of one of the partners for nearly three decades.

As one of the founding partners, Peter McLachlan explains: “We are proud of the relationships we have developed, often acting for clients into second and third generations.”

A team of five partners and in excess of ten senior associates and solicitors provide expertise in aspects of law from commercial and property to litigation, dispute resolution and family matters. MTP meets the needs of a diverse range of clients.

It is also notable that MTP frequently act on behalf of other members of the legal profession and judiciary in matters affecting both personal and professional lives.
